Marisa is an international  strategic and business advisor, mentor and coach, who has mainly specialized in the Health and Life Sciences sectors for more than 35 years.  

Founder and CEO of MGA Business Consulting, S.L. since 1995. Marisa has a broad experience in international and national business consultancy assignments, and managed projects involving development and implementation of new business strategies,  business operations, change management, process reengineering, corporate restructuring , M&A’s, Start up’s and Spinoff’s in many European countries, Brazil and USA. 

She has consulted for Pharmacia Biotech, Amersham Biosciences/General Electric, Pharmacia Diagnostics/Pfizer, Bayer, Amgen, Sanifit, Aelix, iMicroQ,  among others, and has previously held senior management positions at Squibb, Pharmacia, Phadia (now Thermofisher Scientific) in several functional areas.

Marisa is currently Board Observer/Advisor at Mutter Ventures, S.A., has previously served as Board Observer/Advisor at Sanifit Therapeutics, S.A., and held several Board positions in other companies.  

On top of that, she is a passionate entrepreneur and business angel who has invested in several startup companies and VC’s funds, as she strongly believes that there is plenty of awesome projects that could make a real impact in this world, and having the possibility to support them to move forward, in any possible way, is really rewarding.
