Antonio is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience as legal and strategic adviser for international investors in Spain and consultant for startups. He has developed his career in the international law firm Monereo Meyer Abogados since 2000, achieving the condition of equity partner, being highly specialized in advising and project managing foreign investment in Spain and international transactions. He has served as Secretary and/or Adviser to the Boards of Directors of diverse international companies in the tourism, leisure and energy sector, and has advised international banks, venture capital and investment funds. Antonio acquired long-term experience in the Biotechnology sector as outside counsel of several Biotech companies following designation or recommendation of Caixa Capital Risc.

In 2016, Antonio joined Sanifit Therapeutics S.A. as General Counsel and VP Operations, contributing to the professionalization and restructuring of the company, and the integration of the US subsidiary. Important milestones during this period: Series C continuation and Series D financing, including  the first co-investment of the Spanish Government; IPO readiness of the company; diverse out licensing agreements; the first financing of the European Investment Bank for a Biotech company in Spain, and the acquisition of the company by Vifor Pharma.

On top of that, Antonio is a creative person, solution oriented, who loves R&D environments. He is active investor in several startups, and has advised executives of startups in the Energy and Biotech  sectors.
