Marisa is an international business strategy and operations consultant,. She also acts as corporate mentor and trainer. Her main focus, for more than 35 years, has been the Health and Life Sciences sectors. 

Marisa founded MGA Business Consulting, S.L. in 1995 and is its CEO. She has extensive experience leading national and international consultancy projects in the following areas:

    – developing and implementing new business strategies

    – leading and improving business operations

    – change management

    – process reengineering

    – corporate restructuring including M&A’s, Startups and Spin Offs     in a number of European countries, the USA and Brazil. 

Marisa has consulted for companies such as Pharmacia Biotech, Amersham Biosciences/General Electric, Pharmacia Diagnostics/Pfizer, Bayer, Amgen, Sanifit, Aelix, iMicroQ,  among others.  She has held senior management positions at Squibb, Pharmacia and Phadia (now Thermofisher Scientific) in several functional areas.

Marisa is currently Board Observer/Advisor at Mutter Ventures, S.A. She has previously served in the same role at Sanifit Therapeutics, S.A., and held several Board positions in other companies. She is a passionate entrepreneur and business angel who has invested in several startup companies and VC’s funds, She loves finding projects that make a real impact and delights in helping move them forward.
